What can be answered on the spot, is answered on the spot

These nine tools are pure facts: input in, result out, with no one waiting to glance at them. They tell you the number, whether a code checks out, and how many days are left — never whether your goods can enter or what to write instead. That judgement is ours to give.

1

Free-days countdown + detention estimate

How many free days are left is the most common source of anxiety. Enter the release date and free days to get the deadline, days remaining, and a rough daily detention figure (use the carrier's actual rate for the exact amount).

2

Tax take-home calculator

After a quote, the most common question is what actually lands in hand. This runs three scenarios from your quoted amount. Rates use the current confirmed values (PPN 11% effective, PPh23 2%, PPh26 20%) and can be overridden.

3

NPWP / NITKU structure check

Indonesia has two tax IDs: NPWP (16 digits, the unified business format since 2024-07-01, zero-padded) and NITKU (22 digits, first 16 = NPWP). This checks only the length and structure, not whether the number really exists.

4

Container number check (ISO 6346)

A container number is 4 letters (owner code) + 6 digits (serial) + 1 check digit, computed from the first 10 characters by the ISO 6346 algorithm. One wrong digit will flag it — a mistyped number cascades into pickup and customs errors.

5

Document validity countdown

Certificates of origin (FORM E), LS inspection reports and PIs all expire. Enter the issue date and a validity period to get the expiry date and days remaining; the period is editable. Renew well before it lapses.

6

Three-document consistency check

Enter matching fields from the invoice, packing list and B/L (or declaration). It only flags where they disagree — never what to write. Consistency is the whole point; one wrong digit can stall clearance or D/O exchange.

7

Import duty estimate (with/without C/O)

Stack up from the CIF value in order: duty → luxury tax → VAT → import income tax. Two columns auto-compare with and without FORM E (ACFTA C/O), so you see exactly how much the MFN-to-preferential duty gap saves.

8

Volumetric weight / chargeable / loading

Enter per-carton dimensions, quantity and gross weight to get volume, air/express volumetric weight and container loading. Air uses 1 CBM = 167 kg, express 1 CBM = 200 kg; chargeable weight is the greater of gross and volumetric.

9

Real-time FX conversion

Live rates from a public API, no sign-up. Covers USD / CNY / IDR / SGD / MYR / EUR and more. Falls back to a hint when offline. These are market mid-rates; the customs conversion rate is set separately by Indonesian customs.

What these tools do and don't do

  • Facts only: numbers, formats, dates and consistency — all computed on the spot, unattended.
  • No conclusions: whether goods can enter, which code applies, or what to write are professional judgements — never given here. Ask us for a review.
  • Figures are indicative: detention and take-home use current confirmed rates; the actuals follow carrier tariffs and live CEISA / INSW / tax rules.
